Book of the Month for June, 2020: Farm Rebellion, George Orwell.

One night all the animals on Mr. Jones’ farm gather in the barn to listen to the old Major, an elderly pig, who tells them that he has had a dream about a world in which all animals live free from tyranny of their masters

The older elder dies soon after the gathering in the barn, but the animals inspired by his animalistic philosophy begin to plan a rebellion against Mr. Jones. It is two pigs, Snowball and Napoleon, who are the main planners of the dangerous conspiracy. This work by George Orwell is a magnificent satire against the Joseph Stalin regime that corrupted the purity of the idea of socialism. In “Animal Farm” we find the famous phrase that “All animals are the same, but some animals are more equal than others”
